Hear me read from Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 1 Friday night on podcast Sex Out Loud

This Friday night, August 19th from 8 pm ET to 9 pm ET (that's 5 pm PT to 6 pm PT), I'll be on the podcast Sex Out Loud hosted by the wonderful author, sex educator and anal sex expert (among her many other esteemed titles) Tristan Taormino, reading from Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 1 along with contributors Tara Betts ("A New Canvas"), Lazuli Jones ("Starstruck"), Rose Caraway ("The Carnalarium") and Amy Butcher ("Waiting to Pee"). In other words, we'll be reading about travel sex, painting and sex, sex at Comic-Con, polyamorous sex in a unique location and a very unique form of clandestine sex with a trans man in Dolores Park, as well as answering questions about our writing. I got to read with Rose, who also narrated the audiobook, and Amy at a live event in January, and Tara at one in May, but have yet to speak with Lazuli myself, so I'm really looking forward to hearing her read from her very hot story, which you can get a sneak peek of over at Ravishly.

For the next few days, while my publisher switches distributors, my ebooks will be offline. They'll be back soon and I will be promoting them as I usually do, because even though I prefer print, I love that I can get the immediate gratification of an ebook purchase and save money so I can buy even more. So in the meantime, I wanted to share some free audio erotica read by my favorite narrator, Rose Caraway, from the book I'm most proud of, Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 1. Right now I'm brainstorming about possible readings for Volume 2 as I finalize the table of contents and getting ready to make that launch a spectacular one (want to help in just two seconds? Not only do I love Rose Caraway's voice, but because she hosts The Kiss Me Quick's podcast, I get to share the stories from my book with the world for free. Of course, I hope listeners will then go on to buy the Best Women's Erotica of the Year 1 audiobook and listen to all 22 stories, but even if they don't, I'm so thrilled to work with Rose and by the high quality she brings to her recordings. I'll be Instagramming my favorite book finds too (rachelkramerbussel) because for me, BEA is really about being surrounded by fellow book lovers, absorbing all the new books and excitement over books and exulting in stuffing my tote bags full of gifts for myself and others. It's a wonderful celebration and place to learn about this industry and I intend to take full advantage of it.
