Gawker (finally) launches its sci fi blog io9

I just got the scoop via Twitter that Gawker's long-awaited sci fi blog, io9, just launched (click here for the definition of the name). And in case you're wondering, I know next to nothing (perhaps even actually nothing) about science fiction but it's edited by my friends Annalee Newitz and Charlie Anders, pictured below, who also co-edited the anthology She's Such a Geek, so I will be checking it out, and encourage you to do the same. (And for those wondering about my prolific posting, jetlag is keeping me up late while the person I'm visiting is asleep, so I'm amusing myself on the internets.)
