Is it 2010 yet?

What awesome news from the latest Publishers Marketplace! One of my very favorite writers, Susie Bright, publishing with one of my very favorite presses, Seal Press (which is publishing my Dirty Girls: Erotica for Women). The two photos below this are from Susie's excellent Flickr set of her life.



NON-FICTION: MEMOIR
Feminist sex expert Susie Bright's memoir, recounting the author's legacy as the progenitor of sex-positive feminism and godmother of contemporary erotica -- as well as her early years as a high school provocateur (complete with an FBI file) and her later fame as the sexual choreographer of the Wachowskis' BOUND and iconic guest-star of SIX FEET UNDER, to Brooke Warner at Seal Press, for publication in fall 2010, by Jo-Lynne Worley at Worley Shoemaker (world)



Susie, if you didn't already know this, has just edited her last edition of Best American Erotica, and is going on tour in California to promote it. Do check out the newly launched loveliness that is www.bestamericanerotica.com. I'm hoping someone can lure her out here to New York, and she obviously is always welcome at In The Flesh. I and some other local bloggers have work forthcoming in her Chronicle Books anthology X: An Erotic Treasury this fall.
