Best Sex Writing 2012 praise, sex diary, iPhone essay and photos

A few things to share (though for faster linkage, try my Facebook fan page, and yes I know that sounds pretentious, sorry, or add me Google+).

My new book, the one with the buy one get one free from me offer through this Friday, Best Sex Writing 2012, was named by Creative Loafing Atlanta "one of the top 10 most provocative books out this month."

This week's sex diary (I'm the editor): "The 'Terrible Girlfriend' Making the Most of Holiday Sex" and last week's in case I didn't link to it: "The Marketing Consultant Getting a Blowjob at His Parents' House for Christmas."

I wrote an essay for Open Salon called "My iPhone Photos (all 5,000 of Them), Myself" along with some of those photos, like this one:

And over at Romance Divas I'm the Author of the Month, with an accompanying interview about Irresistible: Erotic Romance for Couples, which will be published this month and I'm very excited about! Read 16 hot excerpts here.

And last but not least: 11 Cupcakes I Liked in 2011! and Top 10 Cupcakes Take the Cake posts of 2011.

Book nerding out

I'm totally wowed by YA author group blog The Contemps and signed up for their challenge to read 18 or their 21 books by August. Great stuff there for YA fans or those looking for new ways to promote books.

Romance Divas is my new romance writing chatting online BFF. Full of great writers who are super supportive and fun (and, in some cases, offering kinky advice, like the bratty subs forum in the steamy section).

My naked bubble bath book trailer for Fast Girls: Erotica for Women (click to watch) was book trailer of the day at the most excellent publishing industry newsletter Shelf Awareness - thanks!

I'm finishing up my first novel Everything But for Harlequin Spice - it's harder than law school (which, yes, I dropped out of) and, frankly, I don't think I'm cut out to be a novelist, but I will be - details when I have them, first I need to get it approved.

I want to read graphic memoir Forget Sorrow by Belle Yang:

I'm also looking forward to reading Driven to Ink, the third tattoo mystery from Karen E. Olson:

And I'm not a Republican, but I did pre-order Dirty Sexy Politics by Meghan McCain, to be published next week.
