Prescient

I wrote this as part of this essay I'm waiting to hear back about, but it turned out to be all too prescient:

Sometimes I worry that my heart is too big, too wide open, allowing those who surely don't deserve it entrance.

I'm still not doing all that well, but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things, at least a little bit, when I'm not distraught.
